Utah Fabrication Inc. is an established fabrication company with a long history that began some 50 years ago specializing in custom steel fabrication for the commercial, mining, transportation, industrial and energy sectors.

The company was purchased 10 years ago by Roger Peterson who is President and CEO. The plant was moved from Salt Lake City to its present location in Tooele, UT. With 44,000 sq ft of manufacturing space in operation and another 31,500 sq. ft. due to be erected in late 2008.

Located on 10 acres of industrial property UF is expanding its existing facilities to capitalize on the increased business opportunities available in the western United States as well as expanding our operation into new ventures in Canada and Mexico.

In addition to our own facilities we can provide thousands of sq. ft. of secured, covered warehouse space as well as fenced acreages for outdoor storage.

Utah Fabrication also specializes in material handling equipment along with the ability to install this and other items that we fabricate, including but not limited to complete production lines and equipment. Our design and build capabilities and network of contractors enable us to manage everything from engineering to fabrication and installation capabilities.

This has helped facilitate Utah Fabrication's participation in such areas as coal-handling, copper and gold mining, aggregate facilities, utilities etc. with companies such as Savage, Roberts & Schaefer Engineering, Headwaters, Kennecott, Robinson Nevada Mining Company, McGill, Nucor Steel, BPB Gypsum, Staker Parsons, Sahara Construction, Solios, Redd Engineering, SPS and Ash Grove to name a few of our past and present customers.
